Frame Construction
  • The frame is thermally broken using high density polyurethane.
  • Constructed from .100" nominal material wall thickness aluminum of 6063-T5 alloy with a depth of 3½".
  • An equal leg frame is standard.
  • Corners are mitered, anchors reinforced, hydraulically crimped, and back sealed with small-joint seam sealer.
Door Leaf Construction
  • The 2⅛" deep vent consists of tubular aluminum members with .100" nominal material wall thickness aluminum of 6063-T5 alloy with two thermal struts.
  • Corners are mitered, anchors reinforced, hydraulically crimped, and back sealed with small-joint seam sealer.
Weather Stripping
  • All door leaves are triple weather-stripped with two bulb gaskets and one EPDM gooseneck rubber gasket.
Thermal Barrier
  • Frames are thermally broken using a poured high density polyurethane thermal barrier.
  • Door leaves are thermally isolated with two thermal struts mechanically crimped in raceways extruded in the exterior and interior extrusions.
Hardware
  • Three European profile hinges on each door (standard).
  • Maximum security deadbolt lock with latch operated by lever handle.
  • Multi-point locking hardware provides enhanced security.
  • Lock sets available in both sides key or outside key with knob on the inside.
Glazing
  • Doors are outside glazed with extruded aluminum glazing bead and neoprene drive-in wedge against the exterior of the glass.
  • 1" insulated glass is accommodated.
