SD4000 Storefront System

Door Construction

Door rails and stiles have a depth of 1¾" and are constructed of 6063-T5 aluminum alloy.
Available in .100" (narrow style) or .125" (medium and wide style) nominal wall thickness.
The .100" nominal wall thickness features concealed rail adaptors.
The .125" nominal wall thickness utilizes heavy, concealed reinforcement brackets.
All doors are secured with zinc coated steel tie-rods with nuts and welded four corners.

Weather Stripping

All doors are weather-stripped at the frame with extruded snap-in door stops and pile weatherstrip.
All pairs of doors are dual weather-stripped at the astragal with pile weatherstrip.

Hardware

All doors accept offset pivots, center pivots, butt hinges, or continuous gear hinges.
Compatible lock types include maximum security deadbolts, hook bolts, latch locks, and flush bolts.
Panic devices include concealed vertical rod devices and rim devices.
Concealed overhead, surface mounted, and floor closers are accommodated.

Glazing

Doors accept ¼", ⅜", ½", or 1" glazing.

Optional

Door optional: apply grid.
