AW2500 Awning Window

Main Frame Construction
  • Frame is thermally broken using high-density polyurethane.
  • Constructed from 0.080" nominal wall thickness 6063-T5 aluminum alloy with a 2-½" frame depth.
  • Corners are mitered, anchors reinforced, hydraulically crimped, and back-sealed with small-joint seam sealer.
  • Equal leg frame provided as standard.
Vent Frame Construction
  • Vent sash members are fabricated from 0.080" nominal wall thickness 6063-T5 aluminum alloy.
  • Incorporates poured and debridged polyurethane thermal barrier.
  • Corners are mitered, reinforced, hydraulically crimped, and sealed with small-joint seam sealer for improved structural rigidity.
Weather Stripping
  • Each window is dual weather-stripped with two-bulb gaskets for air and water infiltration resistance.
  • Two weep slots per vent frame allow effective water drainage through the system.
Screens
  • Screen frames are extruded 6063-T5 aluminum alloy.
  • Standard infill consists of 18x16 fiberglass mesh for optimal visibility and durability.
Thermal Barrier
  • All frames and vents are thermally broken using a poured high-density polyurethane barrier.
  • Reduces conductive heat transfer and limits condensation along interior surfaces.
Hardware
  • Locking cam handles.
  • Four-bar hinges manufactured from stainless steel for corrosion resistance.
  • Support arms on both sides to limit window opening and provides extra support to window strength.
Glazing
  • Windows are inside-glazed with an extruded aluminum snap-in glazing bead.
  • Accommodates glazing thicknesses for ¼" and 1".
  • Design allows ease of glass replacement and consistent pressure distribution.
Installation Clip
  • Optional F-clip and Z-clip provided for simplified installation and system alignment.
Optional
  • Window optional: apply grid.
